Scots Whay Hae! has joined forces with our good friends at Into Creative to present Scots Whay Hae! & Into Creative x Conversations, a series where Ali will catch up with creative characters of all kinds to talk about their life and work. Over the series we hope to build up an archive of cultural exhanges which give unique insight into some of the most interesting and inventive artists at work today.
The first episode is with writer and poet David Cameron to discuss his latest novel Femke (right - published by Taproot Press), Prendergast's Fall (which came out with Into Books), his poetry - for which he won the Hennessy Literary Award - his early fiction, and what comes next.
David also talks about his life before he became a writer, what and who inspires him, and the background to his career, before giving us a reading from Femke.
